ProSolutions Software, Inc. is the descendent of SelectComputer, Inc. SelectComputer developed software for spas and salons in the early nineties that was commonly referred to as “ProSalon.” ProSalon became the industry standard and one of the first software companies in the field of salons and spas. By 1999, ProSalon was number one in the industry in terms of client base and rating. Over the years, the industry has met with many changes and seen a large influx of choices in software solutions, most of which were heavily influenced by ProSalon.

The team at SelectComputer included three brothers, Brent Wiggins, Stephen Wiggins and Matthew Wiggins. These three had worked in the salon and spa industry for years and worked with “ProSalon” in numerous ways. Seeing a failure to meet the changing needs of the industry by the different salon and spa software companies, these brothers believed that they were uniquely positioned to make those necessary changes themselves. So they formed ProSolutions Software, Inc. and purchased the company.

Along with the team already in position at ProSolutions, they began to immediately address the pressing concerns of today’s beauty and relaxation industry. Increasing the size of the support department and dramatically increasing the size of the programming department were only the first steps. The team was able to develop an interface for Intuit’s QuickBooks accounting program that dominates the industry. This interface was judged by some of our competitors to be either too difficult or even “impossible” but the job was done and we are proud of our product. Addressing issues raised by the industry that included loyalty programs, membership programs and medical spa needs were also on the agenda and have met with terrific success.
